| | My husband and I have a rescued cockapoo we adopted from Craigslist about a year ago. She is 12 lbs, crate trained, house trained, spayed, about 5 years old (according to what we were told), and very mild tempered. Unfortunately she just began peeing frequently and there are crystals and blood in her urine indicating kidney stones. I spent $80 on antibiotics for her thinking the problem might have been a UTI but that hasn't fixed it and now she's going to need an X ray and probably surgery. We use Care Pet Clinic on Maine Street and the treatment there will be between $400 and $500. We are a young couple with a five month old baby and not only can we not afford the treatment we really haven't had the time for her she deserves since the baby was born. I don't like watching her suffer but I can't afford surgery for her and I don't know what to do except try to find her another home where she will be better taken care of. She is a very sweet and gentle dog who just loves to cuddle. Meet me at the vet and she is yours. | | |
