I fixed up this bike and rode it around and had a great time - I learned to ride on it. Now I have something with more power and no longer need this one.
The tank and side panels were repainted with Sunshine Yellow autobody paint. I had to do a patch job on the tank, but you can't really tell unless you are looking hard for it. However, I am including all the paint I have left, approx 1/2 gallon, in case you'd like to repaint it yourself this winter.
New stuff on the bike: choke cable, throttle cables, DID chain, starter solenoid, fork seals (not put on the bike, it doesn't need them, but I'll include them), headlight bucket, front turn signal stems, grips...
Included with the bike is an EXTRA ENGINE! For parts only, does not run. Also have an extra grab rail that I replaced, it is broken at the turn signal but you may be able to weld it. Service manual and other assorted parts as we find them are included too.
This bike is nearly 30 years old, however, it runs well and is a great "around town" bike. The seat is patched with leather, but you could obtain a new seat cover on ebay if you wanted, it never bothered me. It has a clear title. Odometer says a little over 15k. This is a great bike for anyone who wants a vintage ride or a learner bike. I'm a woman who is 5'2" and I rode it fine. I still zip around every once in a while.
