| | What we have here is a beautiful Honda. I hate to see her go but mama won't let me have two. (I'm getting a VTX in the spring.) She does not sit, she's a daily rider. We calculated the fuel savings at roughly $600.00 just this year, and that's only to work and utility riding. I only live 6.2 miles from my job, I ride her everywhere and we based it on an average of $2.80 per gallon. Since she only drinks Sunoco Ultra 94 there's a good chance that I under shot the dollar amount, but you'll find out. She gets somewhere between 45 and 50 miles per gallon, depending on how hard you push her and that's as good as the day she was hatched. I have a tear in my eye just writing this because I do love her. I think the wife is just jealous, personally. The back rubber is new with just a few hundred miles on it. The front has about 50-60% life left in it, but that should be a few thousand miles for this one. Front brakes are about 50% while the rear brakes look like new. (Drum on the rear, but I checked them out when we did the tire.) I hate to see her go, but here she is. By the way, my plan is to give her an oil change, tune-up and detail the weekend of Oct 20, and her price goes up by a couple hundred if she's still here by then. And bring cash when you come. | | |
