Q:
What does the option "anonymize email address" do on the posting page?  
   
A:
When you select to make your email address anonymous it will not be displayed on the posting. In it's place will be an anonymous email address
(i.e. anon-000000000@onlycolumbus.com). All messages will be forwarded to your email address. This is a helpful feature to prevent SPAM mail to be sent to your email address, because your real email address is never displayed on OnlyColumbus.
When you remove your posting this anonymous email address will no longer forward messages to you.

What does the "mobile alert" do on the posting page?  
   
A:
When someone responds to one of your postings it will be forwarded to your mobile device as well as sent to your email address. The posting will not display your phone number it will be listed as an anonymous email address.
When you removed your posting, messages will no longer be forwarded to your cellphone.
*please check with your cellphone company for text messaging fees

What does flagging a posting do?  
   
A:
When you flag a posting, you help keep this site organized. There are a lot of postings on OnlyColumbus, and we can not possibly read them all. So we would like you to help us!
If you feel a posting is miscategorized then click "miscategorized" et cetera.

How do I post a free posting?  
   
A:
It is easy to post on Only Columbus, first go to the section you want to post in and click the "Post!" in the upper right corner. Type and submit your posting. After you submit it you should receive an email from our system to confirm your posting. Follow the directions in the email to confirm and you're posting will be online shortly.

I want to remove my post what do I do?  
   
A:
After you submit a posting Only Columbus will send you a confirmation email that is used to maintain this posting. From this email you can add or delete your posting at any time.
*Note: the website updates the posts periodically.

I did not receive the confirmation email what do I do?  
   
A:
If you have not received our email please wait a few minutes and check your email again. If you have not received it after an hour please send an email to postings@onlycolumbus.com

I am confused, how do I use this site?  
   
A:
Just move the mouse around the screen, when you move your mouse over a link that is clickable it will highlight yellow.
