Ikenobo Ikebana Room 101 is celebrating its Twelfth Annual Flower Arrangement Exhibition.
Come and experience inspirational and mind-soothing Ikenobo-style Ikebana during the daylong Japanese floral arrangement exhibition and workshop.
This is one and the only authentic Ikenobo-style Ikebana (Japanese flower arrangement) exhibition held in the Columbus area.
Ikenobo Ikebana is the oldest and most traditional flower arrangement school in Japan, with more than 500 years of history. Instructor Kishie Mitsushio, with over thirty years of expertise in Ikenobo Ikebana, has been teaching the depths and techniques to Ikebana arranging in Columbus. Over 80 different styles of Ikenobo Ikebana using various kinds of flowers usually not seen in the United States will be displayed.
